Is there anyway to change the date (year and month) of the calandar on livejournal. So get rid of it all together.
My journal is set in the near future (for a roleplay character) and it looks out of place.

There might be a setting under the customize option. You might be able to tell it that you don't want a calendar there. And if your layout doesn't support that, there might be another that does.
