Livejournal Icons -- how to format the posting?

I notice on Livejournal a lot of the time they have a format type thing so that the icons have the number in a small box under/above the actual icons, how do they do that?

Is it a table? If you don't know exactly what I'm talking about, here's an example I found...

The little black boxes with the number, how do you do that? ^^"

Livejournal Icons -- how to format the posting?
Yes, it's a table. If you go to the site and right-click, then left-click on the option that says "view page source", it'll open a new window with the source code in it. Then you just scroll down until you get to the right part of the code and you can see exactly what they did.

It looks like they used one row with three columns and turned the cell black and the text white with this code:

%26lt;td style="color:#ffffff;text-align:center;b...

Just repeat that three times, changing the color and the number.

Then the next column they just put in the img source for the icon. If you're trying to do this same thing, be sure to put the border="0" option or it'll put a border around the icon.

Hope this is what you were asking!
